SCHOPF Maschinenbau GmbH supplies diesel driven Underground Loaders (LHD’s)
with payloads ranging from 6,000 to 18,000 kg. Designed for toughest
hardrock applications in mining and tunnelling the loaders come with
standard ore buckets of 2.7 to 9 m³ (3.5 yd³ to 12 yd³)
SAE volume. A SCHOPF typical design feature – the centre oscillation
between the front and rear section of the loaders – offers superior
loading and tramming characteristics. Despite the low profile design
of the loaders this enables maximum visibility for the comfortable side-seated
operators whilst concurrently offering spacious rear sections for care
and maintenance. Components from main suppliers are well known for their
durability in underground mining guarantee a high degree in utilization
and availability and help to cut down operating costs, which are decisive
factors for investment decisions.
This in mind, the SCHOPF eXtra Low Profile SFL 60 XLP was designed straightforward
for narrow reef mining without any compromise. Resulting in a remarkable
6,000 kg payload at only 1.38 m o/a height the SFL 60 XLP offers to the
operator a very comfortable seating position for his hard work with all
controls and instruments in ergonomical reach. The compartment assures
the highest safety standard possible.
Despite the compact design and the low machine height easy access of
all components is given for maintenance. Strong shelter plates prevent
damage from rockfall and there are no protruding parts which could be
object of operational touching of obstacles. Installation of a TIER 3/STEP
3A Diesel engine cuts down ventilation needs.
The SFL 60 XLP combines reduction of stope heights without curtailments
in loading and haulage capacity of a mining panel – thus being
a tool of reducing infrastructural costs of a mine.
