Underground mining vehicles manufacture started in the 1960s
and was traditionally
a substantial part of SCHOPF’s activity. The company now supplies 160
countries with aircraft handling and mining equipment products. The collaboration
with Paus gives us the possibility to supply the full spectrum of underground
loaders with capacities ranging from 1,500 kg to 18,000 kg payloads as
well as auxiliary equipment for underground mines like dump tracks and utilities.
The SCHOPF philosophy of designing and building heavy duty vehicles is
the proven way of KIS (keep it simple). Again the latest development
of LHD range the SFL 60 series has proven its robust and reliable design
in
CIS,
USA, Southern Africa mines. The flameproof SFL 60 FLP is successfully
working in the South African coalfield area Witbank. The LHD has a height
of only
1,38 to 1,58m is equipped with a 3,2 m3 (4,2cyd) ejector bucket and is
therefore
most suitable fort low coal seam operation.
A redesign of the lager LHD’s SFL 65, SFL100, SFL 150 is done with excellent
results regarding reliability and productivity.
